Seminar on “Innovation and Startup Ecosystem in India”
The Institution innovation council of Jansons Institute of Technology organised a seminar on Innovation and Startup Ecosystem in India in association with JIT – Intellectual Property Rights Cell. This programme was organised on 19.8.2022 and the speaker was Dr.Ashutosh Pastor Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer, IIT Delhi.
The program started with a welcome address Dr.M.M.Matheswaran, IIC –President followed by the introduction of the speaker by Dr.E.S. Shamila IPR Cell Coordinator. The key note speaker Dr.Ashutosh Pastor discussed about Technology Readiness Level (TRL), Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) and Investment Readiness Level (IRL). TRL 1-9 levels are well explained with real time examples. He gave a clear picture on Implications in Innovation Development. The seminar brief about establishment of proof of concepts, prototype developments, functional validations from models to real operational environments and clearances of mandatory regulatory barriers between levels towards market introduction of the technologies/products.
