National Science Day 2022 

We have planned for four events on 27.02.2022 for the first year B.E. students and school students across the state as a part of the “National Science Day”, in the theme “Science and Technology development in post independent India”. We released a poster for the preliminary round planed online on 20.02.2022. Around 1100 students across the state registered for it and out of which we have shortlisted 250 students for the finals planned on 27.02.2022. Around 100 students from class 6 to 8 participated in the drawing competition. Twenty five teams participated in the quiz competition for the class 9 & 10. Twenty teams participated in the quiz competition for the class 11 & 12.Fifty first year students participated in the photography contest. Dr. A. Logamadevi, Assistant Professor, NGM College, Pollachi, delivered a special lecture in the topic “Achievements of Indian scientists in the filed of S & T and future road map”. Ms. N. Geetha, Chief Educational Officer, Coimbatore handed over the prizes to the winners.
