Visit to “Technology Business Incubator”

The Institution Innovation Council of Jansons Institute of Technology arranged a technology Business incubation visit at AIC Raise Business Incubator, Rathinam Technical campus, Coimbatore to the students of various departments on 15.3.2022 and 16.3.2022. During the first day, II year CSE and Artificial Intelligence and Data science students were taken for the visit and during the second day II year ECE students were taken. The students were accompanied by Dr.M.Matheswaran and Prof. N.Krishnapriya and Prof.M.Pavithra during the first day and during the second day Dr.T.Meenakshi, Dr.E.S.Shamila and Dr.P.Gowtham accompanied the students. About 100 students visited the TBI.

Dr. G.Arunkumar, Assistant General Manager – Projects & Maintenance of the AIC RAISE introduced the TBI to the students. He explained about the facilities rendered by the TBI to the startups and the list of startups associated with them. He explained about the services rendered by the TBI during pre incubation and incubation period. The concept of pitching the idea, project design and testing and fund raising was elucidated , He also conducted a workshop on business model and rendered assistance to the students on identifying technology gaps, preparing a business model and performing PESTEL analysis for the business model. The visit got over by 1.00PM.
