Promotion of Cyber Hygiene & Security

Internal women caring cell of JANSONS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY in association with Institution’s Innovation Cell organizes a seminar on “Promotion of Cyber Hygiene and Security” on March 8th which is celebrated throughout the world as international women’s day. After the students and guests assembled in seminar hall the event started by the prayer song.  Ashika of ll ECE welcomed the chief guest and participants on behalf of IWCC. The opening note of the event was presented by Sukitha Reddy of ll ECE. She briefed about the profile of the chief guest and the objective of the event. Then the chief guest Mrs.R.Santhya , Founder and Director of ABG Cyber solutions , Coimbatore addressed the gathering. In order to bring awareness among students, she explained in detail about Cyber Stalking and Cyber bullying by online predators. Besides, she demonstrated a case study about Cyber hygiene with real life story to form good habits around cyber security so that one can stay ahead of cyber threats and online security issues. It enlightened students with a five step SMART protocol for secured and safe online surfing. The participants rectified their doubts by asking questions. And then the guest is recognized with momentum. Followed by vote of thanks given by Sukitha Reddy of ll. Finally the event is ended up with national anthem.
