Seminar on “Business Potential and Opportunity Identification for the Innovation Innovation Rubric and Business Model Canvas Preparation”

The Institution innovation council of Jansons Institute of Technology organised a seminar on Business Potential and Opportunity Identification for the Innovation Innovation Rubric and Business Model Canvas Preparation in association with   JIT – Intellectual Property Rights Cell. This programme was organised on 20.8.2022 and the speaker was Dr. B. L. Lakshmi Meera AVP & Head – Forge Academy, Coimbatore Innovation & Business Incubator. The program started with a welcome address by Dr.P.Gowtham, EDC –coordinator followed by the introduction of the speaker by Dr.E.S. Shamila IPR Cell Coordinator. The session focussed on the importance of Entrepreneurship in the current scenario. In the beginning, the key speaker pointed at the significance of Entrepreneurship in the present and future timed of COVID19 to boost the economy. According to Dr. B. L. Lakshmi Meera, there will be many opportunities for Entrepreneurs in many areas. According to Dr. B. L. Lakshmi Meera, Entrepreneurs are not just born. They learn, they grow, they can be groomed. Motivation plays a vital role. Need for achievement, risk management, creativity and innovation can be taken as some basic traits of an entrepreneur.
